Hatteso Amarone Riserva 2011

95,00 €
· 75 cl

Amarone della Valpolicella DOP Riserva — 85% Veronese Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, 15% other varieties. Manual harvest, 90–100 days of drying in wooden trays with a natural weight loss of 50–60%. Temperature-controlled stainless-steel fermentation, 36 months in new barrels and at least one year in bottle. Production limited to 5,000 bottles.

On the nose

Deep ruby turning garnet, plum, cherry, candied amarena and almond, balsamic streak, mint, vanilla, coffee and chocolate.

On the palate

Full-bodied, powerful, enveloping, supple, round, dry and savoury. Long gusto-olfactory persistence held by an acidity that keeps its freshness.
